Do you ever see someone who is perpetually happy and wish you could be like them? 

In my personal experience, I struggled with self-esteem for the longest time.
I was socially awkward. I had a hard time making new friends. 
Most of the times, I felt like I was not "enough". These darn negative voices in my head were louder than the positive ones. 
I began blaming other people for the state of my life: my mother, my absent father, my friends...
One day I decided that I had enough. I took matters in my own hands.  
I read books. I wrote. I did affirmations. I meditated. I trained my mind to love myself. 
I am here to tell you that you CAN achieve a healthy self-esteem…
...but it takes time and effort.
