00:0000:00

Today I, your Favorite French Canucker, GO THERE. This novel is nothing like Fifty Shades, uh, uh. Sex, murder, suspense, swing houses, that's the way we like it. Novelist A. Gavazzoni chats with us on her debut novel.

Reader Advisory: This story has graphic sexual language and scenes—no closed bedroom doors (or other rooms) here!

q?_encoding=UTF8&MarketPlace=US&ASIN=B01When Lara dies at the hands of a Manhattan lawyer during a sex game, his defense attorney, Carl, hires Simone, a psychiatrist, professor and author of books on sexual behavior to help him buttress his argument that Lara’s death was accidental. To help his defense, Carl’s client has written a detailed account of his steamy, year-long relationship with Lara. Carl gives the text to Simone for analysis. While evaluating the presumed killer’s writing, Simone continues to receive psychiatric patients with sexual disorders and unusual fantasies, and to research strange sexual behavior for her next book.

Meanwhile, Simone’s clinical partner, friend and research colleague, Edward, is working with the police to capture a serial killer who is torturing and killing women. From hot and unusual sex and interesting psychiatric patients, to the swing houses of New York and Paris, this fast-paced page-turner is a blend of mystery, suspense, humor, romance and erotica.

Dondi Dahlin - Discover your Personality Type

October 21, 2016
00:0000:00

dondi-blue_dress

Have you ever met someone and immediately disliked him/her? Ever wonder why your relationships are screwed up? There's a reason. Ever felt like you were in the wrong career? There's a reason, sportsfans. And Dondi Dahlin's new book will answer your questions.

Wanna ride Space Mountain, Baby? Listen to today's episode. Carefully.

The Five Elements brings the wisdom of an ancient healing system to modern readers, helping them understand themselves--why they do what they do--better.

Dondi Dahlin shows us that we are all born with individual rhythms that go beyond the influence of our genes and upbringing. The five elements originated in ancient Chinese medicine over 2,000 years ago--when scholars theorized that the universe is composed of five forces: water, wood, fire, earth, and metal. Understanding these elements helps us stay in balance physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. By explaining the efficacy of wood, the depth of water, the joy of fire, the compassion of earth, and the wisdom of metal, this book helps people understand themselves and form lasting connections to others, answering the age-old question of why we do what we do.

Maura_Happy Inside Out

When defining yourself as generous- or not - do you restrict the meaning of the word to giving others big presents or large sums of money? The concept of generosity carries far greater meaning, one that starts with the heart. In fact, when distilled down to its earlier roots, generosity actually points to the “great soul” within us, one that finds varied ways to express itself liberally in the world. In this podcast, learn some of the finer attributes that constitute generosity. Discover also how we can see ourselves in grander and more gracious fashion, even when others around us are having trouble viewing themselves well. Expect to connect with peace, happiness and a greater measure of well being. Then, listen in as Diane Kutz shares with us what makes her happy from the inside out, too.   #Happiness #Spirituality #SelfDevelopment #Gratitude #Generosity #Peace

Blind, and Overcoming the Odds w/Robert T. Branco

October 14, 2016
00:0000:00

Today I, your Favorite French Canucker, go to Perkins School as we chat with Robert Branco about succeeding despite being blind. For those of you with excuses, this will kick you in the butt.

Smell what I'm cookin'...?

Robert Branco is a life-long resident of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Legally blind since birth, Robert attended "sight-saving classes" in the public school system until his parents learned of the Perkins School for the Blind. Robert has self-published four books, including one chronicling his life at Perkins, two collections of essays, and a cookbook. He is currently the publisher of the online newsletter Consumer Vision Magazine, commissioner of an adult slow-pitch softball league, and the president of a bowling league for disabled persons. He also loves sharing his views on numerous issues pertaining to blindness, including legislation, discrimination, employment, adaptive technology, and myths about the visually impaired.

People have lots of questions about the blind. These include what was it like growing up without sight, how did it feel going away to a special school at the age of 12, what was it like living at Perkins School, and so much more. My life experiences have convinced me that there are many people who simply do not feel comfortable asking these kinds of questions, but who really are interested in knowing the answers.

If you, as a sighted person, have ever wondered what a blind person is capable of doing, the answer is that we're no different from the sighted. What we don't know, we are taught.

Make Dough with your Art w/ AbundantArtist.com Founder Cory Huff

October 12, 2016
00:0000:00
What's more fun than making your Art? Nothing much, to be honest, except paying them gimmicks they send in the mail called bills!

This is a replay of an interview I did back in February 2016 with one of the most sought-after coach and teacher in the biz!

In 2009 Cory started TheAbundantArtist.com (TAA for short) as a way teaching internet marketing to his artist friends who were asking him for help. Since then, he's helped dozens of artists go from never sold anything to now selling pieces monthly or weekly. Some of his artist friends and clients have gone on to sell their work for $20,000 or more.

He teaches artists to dispel the starving artist myth by using the Web to sell art directly to their fans. If you want to get into a gallery or museum, the marketing skills he teaches can help you do that. Building your own business online can be complimentary to a gallery business for the right artists and galleries.
